  • This curriculum is designed to help the beginning angler understand the basic principles of ice fishing and the importance of responsible resource use in maintaining a healthy fishery. At the conclusion of this curriculum, you should have a general knowledge of fishing in the winter, ecology, ethics, responsible outdoor behavior, and safety.

A slightly older curriculum (published in 1980) that covers the history, management & importance of Alaska’s fisheries.  Students investigate Alaskan fisheries & the biology and ecology of commercially important fish species.
